This time they have interesting collaborations on it, Iván Palacios (ex-Medication) on bass, Luigi Navarro (Edwin Moses) on guitars and Frank Rudow (Manta Ray, Viva las Vegas) on drums, plus the special guest appearance of Irene Tremblay (Aroah) playing acoustic guitar on the song “Sacramento”. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eEl Naval was recorded February and March of 2002 at their home, on the Natahoyo neighborhood near to the “El Naval” neighborhood. Their 10 compositions show a band that has finally let go the ballast of electronic music (and in many ways, of modernity as a style and artistic shell) to follow the path traced by their early Alma EP: Folk, Pop, Slow-core and cinematographic atmospheres, that refer more to realism and the tight shot, than to landscapes or the creation of sentimental parallel universes. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eMus seem to share now the same musical coordinates with Low, The Zephyrs, Hood, The American Analog Set or L'Altra by their handcrafted way of handling noise, melodies and textures. El Naval sounds clear and honest.
